CASK ALE WHISPERER

Dog Days

I was a busy boy last week.

I will be a busy boy this week as well.

So busy that I haven’t really had chance to sit down and think, let alone write.

Cat sitting at the end of last week and the weekend.

Dog (granddog) sitting tonight and the next couple of weeks.

Mister Bagel being his usual needy/cranky/adorable self.

And a funeral and shiva calls coming up this week.

A lot on my plate and a lot on my mind.

Both occupied and preoccupied.

I feel like something the cat dragged in.

I did manage to get out to JWF last Thursday for a few pints, and did rack up over thirty-five walking miles last week (64.42 mpg woohoo!), mostly in stinking hot humid conditions.

Dog days indeed.

Do please check out the scorecard below, there are now events (mostly Oktoberfests) coming up for every weekend in September, including a small cask event at JWF itself (two on the engines and a handful of pins).

I have already signed up for most of them.

It looks like I am going to be a busy boy.
