I am a little under the weather this week, so we will have to make do with a few photos…
…which is a shame because I actually managed to get out on four separate occasions last week.

Thursday 8/20/26
After two weeks of lockdown (sort of) I was finally able to get an evening to myself and grabbed a M101 bus up to Hamilton Heights for a couple of pints of Strong Rope’s latest ESB, Bardsplainer.
It rained.
Saturday 8/22/26
Walkies with Amos made a return to Long Island City for a wee crawl around Fifth Hammer, with a quick Hawaiian Pizza IPA (a guilty pleasure) at Rockaway Brewing, and a Lemondrop Pils at Focal Point, bookending a couple of pints of Paddy Neverpat at the Hammer itself.
Monday 8/24/26
Dropping my missus off at LaGuardia Airport by bus, somehow left me alone in Jackson Heights in the early afternoon. A quick (he means very long) stroll down to the LIC ferry terminal happened to swing perilously close to Fifth Hammer.
More Paddy Neverpat was consumed.
Tuesday 8/25/26
I finally made it back to JWF for the first time since the World Cup Final.
I only went for a pint to see if it would help to relieve my impending cold.
I got detained for a few.
