Yeah, that turned into a proper cold last week, limiting my excursions, so again we will have to make do with a few photos…
… I did manage to get out for a few dog walks, but fortunately most of my dog interactions last week were stayovers.
Four different dogs passed through my household last week.
And none of them thought to bring beer.
One of those dogs was my old mate Amos, and he had to make do with regular walkies with me this week.
Friday 8/28/26
No doggie campers scheduled and the sniffles were starting to dissipate, so I hopped the ferry around lunchtime to head to Fifth Hammer for a couple of pints of Paddy Neverpat and a Pogolodyte to wash them down.
Then the emergency call came in, to take charge of my scheduled Sunday dog a couple of days early due to unforeseen circumstances, and I had to rush back on the next ferry.
Just as well I got out as early as I did.
Sunday 8/30/26
I found myself with a couple of hours before I would be dogbound for a week, so I wandered down to the local to catch the end of the United game, and grab a couple of casks and a scotch egg.
Quiet but comforting.
